FAQs
What does "Kaiju" mean?
Kaiju in popular culture is used in describing the biggest of monster movies such as King Kong and Godzilla. It stems from the pronunciation of the term for "monster" in Japanese. However, the written is of traditional Kanji "怪獸". It is my little way of intermixing and taking from different cultures for the sake of progress and creation of a new, unique identity.
The concept of using the term of "Kaiju" is to be a blank slate. It can mean whatever the individual wants it to mean; whether it's being physically strong and durable as a monster or just thinking that it sounds cool and that we have an accompanying logo. However, where it began was as an internal search for identity and creating one's own. To not let others perception deter from what you believe, choose, and work towards becoming. Even if the description is of the very worst imaginable, in my mind of course being a monster. Being able to embrace and be able to make something of it, progressing above perceived public perception. To be unwavering in your stance and decisions as long as you are confident in the morals to which they are made is the philosophy that birthed the company.
